R82 Caribou

The Caribou is a standing frame that supports a prone, upright, or supine standing position.

The tilt function and the extensive accessories selection allows users who have severe limitations in head and trunk control or who experience limitations in their range of motion to adopt the standing position. Thereby the Caribou supports the child to participate in things they value – and it can bridge the disparities between children with and without disabilities.

The Caribou is available in four sizes and suitable for children from approximately 85 cm (33 1/2”) to 184 cm (72 1/2″). The max. user mass is 100 kg.

Product Features

Easy transfer

The Caribou tilts from vertical to horizontal. The horizontal position makes it easier for the carer and less stressful for the user to be placed into position. The Caribou is designed with a raised frame for easy use of floor hoist.

Anatomic design and soft moldable PU

Soft PU material for optimum comfort. The shape can be moulded to the body using additional wedges to shape the PU. The Caribou is designed with smooth edges for better safety and it is easy to clean.

Interchangeable accessories

Caribou has a rage of different accessories that are easily interchangeable for carers’ convenience.

Easy tilt

The Caribou is supplied with an easy tilt mechanism, which allows the carer to have both hands free.
